The upcoming Book Fair by Candlelight is set to have a Halloween/Dia Los Muertos/Diwali theme! The idea originated from Ms. Plotsky and her team of library assistants. Since these holidays are all around this time of year, the team thought that it would be a great idea to incorporate them into the theme. Moreover, the team discovered that each holiday had a similarity-- lights. Hence, the name “Book Fair by Candlelight” was created. To represent each of these holidays, the team used plastic jack o’ lanterns for Halloween, colorful painted diyas for Diwali, and an ofrenda for Dia de Los Muertos. Ms. Plotsky and her team have been working very hard to pull this off. So, what are you waiting for? Get ready for Book Fair by Candlelight!
